Magical Practice in the Goddess Tradition
Creating sacred space - the sacred elements and directions of the circle
These classes teach the practices for creating the container for traditional magical workings. We work with the directions, elements and tools of the circle: North - earth/pentacle, East - air/athame, South - fire/wand, West - water/chalice and Centre - spirit/cauldron.
Energy working - shaping, moving and raising energy
Energy is a primary tool for ritual. We all sense energy in different ways, we may feel it as temperature changes, tingling on our skin, an internal 'feeling' or awareness, visual images and more. In these workshops we use energy working exercises that teach the art of shaping, charging and raising energy with focused intention.
Deepening into the web - exploring the archetypes of deity
These classes are designed to develop your personal relationship with the deity. We create sacred space and invite deity to guide our work. Skills engaged in this working include visualization, meditation, dreaming, altar building, movement and creative expression. The intention of the work is to learn more about our own qualities and experiences through the reflection of deity archetypes in our own lives.
Drawing wisdom from myth and story
Once upon a time... ... . the heroes, heroines, challenges and gifts take many forms in the stories and myths we remember from childhood. These teachings are a rich source we draw from in small group classes where we explore the themes and secrets of one story as our central learning guide. Trance and dream work are key tools in the experiences that serve to deepen our understanding of our own gifts and challenges and bring insight to our current passages.
Magic is the art of changing consciousness at will
The role of consciousness is central to empowering the magic of our sacred circle. In these classes the levels of visualization and trance work that help us develop the art of consciousness changing are taught and practiced. We move from guided visualization, to guided trance, pairs trance, group trance, moving trance, and to channeling and aspecting at the more advanced levels.
Sanctuary and sacred symbols - making the everyday sacred
There is an art to bringing a sense of the sacred into our lives. We are all sacred beings living in a sacred place, this planet earth. This course is designed to inspire your spiritual practice and nourish your sacred self. We work with contemplation, storytelling, art-making, ritual and song to feed our souls and deepen our connection.
Divination - scrying, sensing, readingv
Divination is an ancient and well-loved art that uses various tools and techniques to access the universal flow of information and guidance for our lives. Tarot, Runes, I Ching, the crystal ball, the black mirror are just some of these tools.
